INFOMAR is a joint project of the Marine Institute and Geological Survey Ireland to map the physical, chemical and biological features of Ireland’s seafloor. INFOMAR applications and outputs extend to

Five bursaries are available on INFOMAR 2024 surveys. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduate and postgraduate students with a background in marine, earth and physical sciences to get on the job training in hydrographic surveying for seafloor mapping. Bursaries will take place between April and September.

Required Certificates
• Current ENG 11 medical certificate
• Current PST STCW 95 or equivalent
• STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness
