The Marine Environmental Research Institute (MaREI) at UCC coordinates marine research for climate, energy and innovation at UCC and across a wide network of national and international research partners. Research in marine geosciences at UCC is lead by the Marine Geosciences research group.
UCC offers several undergraduate and postgraduate science degrees with marine applications in geology, geography, environmental, life sciences and energy engineering through the schools of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences (BEES) and Engineering.
